About Last Month...
Last week I snuck an Ed Sheeran quote into a eulogy for my Uncle Denny. And I wanted to share it as a reminder that within the pain of sorrow, is feeling -- which is both core to being human and a necessary part of the healing process. As I learned from the book, On Grief and Grieving, it is not a linear process, nor does it have a specific timetable.
If you are reading this today, take a minute to call or text two people. Share a memory with them. They will appreciate it.

While home prices are down 4% from last year at this time, they are up 3% from the beginning of the year. Prices took the biggest hit October of 2022 through February of 2023. But with very few homes on the market (65 single family homes for ALL of Redlands at the time of this writing) there is still competition for homes between $500k-650k.

Like many others since start of the pandemic, Alaina and I have slowly become big fans of gardening.
What started as one raised bed of 2x4's a few years ago has quickly turned into starting a hundred of our own plants from seeds. And while it would be cool to say that we got into this for a specific reason with a specific goal, the reality is this just another step in our exploration of constant learning.
Learning is my favorite feature of the internet. And as we head into the second half of this year, I'm hopeful to find more outlets to share what we have learned along the way. Be it through Real Estate transactions, coaching, the newsletter or Instagram.
Next step in the learning process is experimenting with fermented salsa and pasta sauces throughout the summer. Follow along on instagram for some of bts videos.
